Compare “Plan to eradicate Christmas” to “The Christmas tree
of might” and you will see how far Dragon Ball Z Abridged has come. In terms of
editing acting and to some extent the writing, everything about “Plan to
eradicate Christmas” is better.
Dragon Ball Z abridged as gone from an amateur level
production to near professional quality. And TFS has become a minor enterprise
with multiple YouTube channels and even doing professional work.
I can only imagine the time an effort which went in to the “Plan
to Eradicate Christmas” which is even more astounding when you consider they are
not allowed to directly profit off it. People might complain about the poor
release schedule but when you consider the effort in vs the rewards out it’s a wonder
we get episodes and specials at all. DBZA started as a labor of love and you can
see that when you watch it.
Of course rewriting Plan to eradicate the Super Saiyan might
be an odd choice but as humor it worked. I certainly see myself watching this
next Christmas time.
